After 3 years racing abroad, this is the first time Jozsef returns back to Hungary to compete at the inaugural Keszthely Triathlon. The 1.2 mile swim course is in the famous Lake Balaton which is also called the Sea of Hungary. The 56 mile bike course leads through the urban parts of Keszthely, and goes around the beautiful rural neighborhood. The 13.1 mile run course takes part on the scenic streets of the city, and the participants turn around at the historic Festetics-kastely (Festetics Palace), which was built in the 18th century.
Jozsef is considered as one of the main contenders of the race but he has to compete with several other elite triathletes, including the 3-time Olympian, Csaba Kuttor, the young rising Ironman star, Gergo Molnar and the Croatian long course specialist, Dejan Patrcevic.
